The Newcomer Health Clinic provides preventative health and primary medical care for government-assisted refugees, privately sponsored refugees, and refugee claimants in the greater Halifax area. The clinic supports patients with services such as vaccinations, chronic disease management, routine primary care, and help transitioning to a family practice in the community within a two-year period. Professional health interpretation is also available for patients when needed, free of charge.
